In this weeks organic veg delivery we have a mystery veg, green swirly kind of cauliflower?
Any ideas on what it is, and how I'm best to cook / deal with it? I thought I was pretty well versed in fruit & veg but this one is new to me..

What I like best about this joke is that the "B" doesn't actually stand for anything, Mandelbrot made it up in order to sound more interesting. So, it's entirely possible that it does stand for "Benoit B. Mandelbrot" and it was his private little joke.

It's a great looking veg. I'll take some more pics before cooking it up. Dauphinoise potatoes won the family vote too..
