    I'm getting a Dialledbikes PA,it's a 19 inch frame and the headtube is 120mm long,looking at buying some 2nd hand forks but the steerer is cut to 180mm.The stem i want to put on has a stack height of 50mm…..So this leaves me only 10mm for the headset,does anyone know of a really low stack headset that will fit? Does it matter if the top of the steerer is below the height of the top of the stem? Please help.

    The top of the steerer needs to be a couple of mms below the top of the spacer/stem. Realistically you have almost 15mm for the headset. FSA will be fine.

    CB headsets are the lowest I know at 21mm stack height iirc. Thomson stem, for example, is 40mm stack so you could get away with that. As hairchested said, FSA stems have low stack heights
