On a bikey note, when you're really looking forward to a ride and you go out and find your legs feel heavy and don't work as you'd like them too.

What's a dishwasher?
My wife! *boom tish*
Morrison's satsumas are disappointing. They look lovely and fruity, but every time I think I'll have one, they taste either so sharp they make me grimace, or almost rotten and bland.
London. London is also disappointing, or at least it was yesterday afternoon. Too many people, too much noise.

opening the dishwasher to put something in then discovering that it's full of clean stuff that needs taking out first.
Yep agree with that. Same goes for the washing machine. Just about to put a casserole dish in and there's a completed towel wash lying there all quiet.

No confusion, Donk. It's like when buying a large packet of crisps, only to discover that the packet is mostly full of air.
That's very dissapointing.(sic)
I'm with DONK. Wonderbras are brilliant. One of the best pieces of engineering available. The contents (or lack thereof) are not the fault of the bra.
On a similar vein, fake boobs can be a bit disappointing. Good ones look great but once you get a closer inspection, they just feel a bit weird. Not that I was particularly disappointed at the time you understand.

Friend has exactly the same, bit of a coming off, leg twisted around the knee = no riding for 8 months.
some physio and an injection (streiods / hydrocortisone possibly) later and he's not had any issues since. You've really gotta rest it. Keep pushing the doc too for more action!Posted 8 months ago # -
The British public's continual tendency to vote Tory, despite it being against their best interests.
Ok, mainly the English public.

Thanks Bigyinn.. That's encouraging..
I was beginning to think that I might just have to learn to live with it..I've been continually sceptical that I'm not getting good advice since day one..

Landing a big order then a few days later getting a message from the customer to say they've had to cancel due to 'unforeseen circumstances'.
Oh and finding out that there was a sock stuffed into a male undergarment, where a sock shouldn't have been - aimed at CaptainFlashheart

Hey! Unfair!
No socks in my pants. And do you know why?
Because I'm not wearing any! Go on....ask me why.....
etc.

WHY? (snigger)
Answer: Because I wear female undergarments.

Viewing houses. How do estate agents make houses look enormous and immaculate in their photo's when 90% of the time the reality is the exact opposite? I suspect witchcraft.

millenium domes- those super engineered bras that promise so much yet when you get to see inside it's all structural supports and a big empty void

You do have to learn to like olives. Just like smoking.
Keep at it, the payback's there in the end.

Odly, olives and smoking I always liked (although 2nd hand smoke is the worst smell ever) and didn't need to get used to.
Coffee on the other hand took a holiday in Spain to get into that one.

Leeds United FC's continuing failure to keep a clean sheet. still, the "we're going to score one more than you" approach does make it somewhat entertaining
