So I have a pair of the M776 wheels that I'm taking to the Alps next week, and with customary good timing it appears the oversized axle on the rear is snapped. Madison are quoting mid July to get hold of one – anyone happen to have a spare axle/ spare rear wheel/ spare M776 new-style XT hub from which to rob an axle? It also turns out that XTR hubs, although using the same system, don't fit.
In terms of beer, my gratefulness would make the trouble worthwhile.

Mine went on me a couple of months ago. I waited for one to come in but wish I'd have just bought a new hub. Mine snapped and took out one of the cones so I got a axle kit (with the bearings and new cones. The kit's are the best part of £30, you can get new hub for £40!!
