After a bit of advice, doing the mountainbike c2c mid May, approx 50% off piste, the bike is a Stumpjumper hardtail. Any recommendations of tyre choice and width ????
Presently have a 2.1 Kenda nevgel on back and Continental Mountain King 2.2 on the front
Some of those conti semi slick thingies with knobbly bits on teh shoulder but near slick on the middle bit
mountain king 2.2, Maxxix ignitor 2.1 or maxxix crossmark (crossmark only if its dry though) used all 3 last year racing and all are awesome tyres for hard trails and those few road sections.
