Plan on getting new wheels with Stans Crest rims and doing the tubeless thing. I have Conti Speedking non tubeless tyres that I plan on keeping, will I need a rim strip or can I run with just yellow tape?

Just yellow tape and a valve with stans rims.

threadjack! May I ask….. what’s the tyre range for the crest ( running tubeless )????

I’d like to run 2-2.3 really – but im light so dont really need flows.

Conti’s can be pretty porous and hard to seal, particularly Supersonics, so be prepared for some faff.

I ran a STD raceking tubeless, only took a minute of shaking to seal up, and no problems after that. Stock maxxis ardent sealed up in seconds too. Not sure I’ll bother buying lust, tlr or 2bliss anymore, not worth the extra cost
