run them off Light and Motion batteries? My HiD has died and I am investigating alternative sources of light, having seen a trout in action (very impressive) was wondering if I could use the light unit with existing batteries.

Probably best to mail him, think his address is in his profile.

I doubt you'd get much run time from an L&M battery & you'd be pushing the Maxflex hard with 11.1 volt supply.
What Ah rating is the battery?

No, they are different voltages. I asked him the same question

Cheers Nige, looks like I might have to buy the whole package then, a lot dearer than you paid too 🙁

Just returned home from fitting bathroom floors .

Minimum voltage for the 7 up or Liberator is a 14.8 volt pack

I do have a couple of 7 ups and 1 x liberator which have been used as demos for a few folks going cheap

Whats the damage on a ex-demo one, and I guess battery and charger?
