Currently have standard QR on my 2011 Covert but tempted to upgrade to 10mm bolt through rear.
Total cost will be £45 for the Hope conversion kit and a Hadley 10mm bolt.
Is it worth it?

I don't have the evo hubs. Also not convinced about the QR mechanism on those SS ones, rather have bolt up and heard Hadley are the best.

makes getting the wheel off a dam sight easier than bolt up. I had the superstar qr on my sx before it was stolen and it did a great job.

i can tell at herts. the rear wheel moves about with a qr but my riding there is very different i guess

had QR on my last 3 bikes, got 10mm on both my new bikes (transition transAm & a Intense) = Difference noticed.
The same way I noticed the difference with bolt thru forks, never thought feel it and now wish I'd changed over sooner.It seems more positive & direct when in boulder gardens etc. pick a line & the bike holds it. change a line & the bike changes, less wishy washy or debate about where the bike thinks you want it to be.
Does that even make sense?Still not entirely convinced about tubeless tho (except in Spain or the Alp). nearly there...

Yep, I run a dt rws axle on my covert and it's very stiff.

Thinking of doing this on my bikes, a couple of questions:
Hope Pro II rear
With the Superstar 10mm QR i'm assuming you also need to buy the Hope Conversion Kits Pro 2 10mm Thru Rear as well.
Is this also possible with Hope Pro 3 XC6 Hubs.

Yes need to buy the 10mm conversion kit for the rear hub - thru one, not bolt in if using a SS 10mm qr.
