land earmarked for employment - right next to reasonably new housing estates.

is this likely to end up heavy industry or more likely offices ?

Employment Land
This includes land for general industrial and business/office use, storage and distribution uses, business parks and specialist technology parks including research and development uses. This comprises Classes 4, 5 and 6 of the 1997 Town and Country Planning (Use Classes) (Scotland) Order, but is not exclusive to these uses.

Class 4. Business
Class 5. General industrial
Class 6. Storage or distribution

Can you identify which class it is?

no such luck - its still prelimenary and purely earmarked as employment land
