Anyone repaired a Joe Blow track pump before? Mine has developed an issue whereby when I try to inflate tyres the pressure just seems to build up in the pump. If I release pressure on the handle it comes flying up.
Any ideas on easy repairs or is it shafted?
Cant help but thinking kids have been messing with it. I have took it to bits as far as I can and theres nothing obvious.

There's a spring & plug at the bottom of the pump that corrodes, recon this caused the same symptoms 'in' mine, stripping it down & cleaning helped but I just replaced that assembly & fitted a new o-ring onto the 'piston'. It feels just like new pump

Go to the topeak website to identify which particular model of Joe blow you have (there's loads) & I used SJS Cycles to locate the parts I needed, rather than risk the contents of a 'spares kit' from wiggle

I emailed topeak about the very same issue and they sent me a rebuild kit free of charge. VERY good customer service.
