that is the coolest thing known to mankind. Im a huge original wipeout fan. Love the authentic soundtrack.
I dont care if they never revolutionise transport - they should just get on with manufacturing that as a game for adults! Sod saving the world.

They cross over between the tracks (like how exactly would that work?), and the controller is a fancy 3d animators mouse thing, and Japan Institute of Science and Technology doesn't exist.
Nice video though.
If it was really done by scientists, it would look rubbish and be poorly filmed as an afterthought to some experiment, like this one I stuck together from some camera recordings we had hanging around:
