I have here “Ladybird learners: Vehicles, Land, Sea, Air”, featuring amongst other things, Concorde (“today supersonic planes take people all over the world”) the Space Shuttle, a commercial hovercraft. How do I explain to my sons that these are just as much a part of history as steam trains? I remember watching the first Shuttle launch – what big feats will capture their imagination?
you never crossed the channel on one then, terrible utterly terrible experience
Thought it was fun. Bouncy up front and so loud you need to use sign language to communicate at the back. Quick though. 35mins to Boulogne (or however you spell it).
