    I remember something similar years ago – the difference being that it was the front rider facing backwards and the back rider steering (well that's better than the rider facing backwards steering I suppose!) Was designed for time-trialling – supposedly had a significant aero advantage, though I think they changed the rules to make it illegal.

    I'd give that a go. All tandems (so far…) are ace.. Not one for the control freaks though.
