Going to be heading down to trail addiction in September with my T4, whats the best option for crossing the channel from Dover, book as car or motorhome? Its lowered, alloys, side windows but just carpet lined interior, no rear seats or furniture. hoping I will be fine as a car, its so much cheaper!

Also can anyone recommend a decent overnight stop 2-3 hours into france, campsite or hotel is good to me.

    Thanks very much.

Whats it say on the log book
as thats what the ferry co will know when you book and put your reg in

T4 should be fine as under the freight size for a van
got my T5 on the chunnel last year for £65 each way but was in the middle of the night

Hmmm, panel van on the log book, but its not like it looks like a standard van, i’m sure half the guys on the check in desk pay no attention to your vehicle anyway, might meet them halfway and go for motorhome rate.
