I bought a Cateye cordless computer last year which has stopped working properly - the head unit will only pick up a signal if you hold it right next to the sensor and I've tried 2 sets of brand new batteries in both parts.
I bought it with cash, so no credit card proof of purchase, and I didn't keep the receipt.
I emailed customer services who referred me to Zyro, the UK distributors. They refuse to do anything saying I have to take it up with the shop. The shop won't do anything without a proof of purchase.
Where do I stand? Really not impressed with Zyro who have been rather dismissive.
