    Interestingly someones gone and built a bike with a spokeless wheel ( rear only ) so prehaps all the bike designs that have them are gonna come closer to reality

    Just because it's possible to build such a thing doesn't actually make it a good idea (I'm sure it's not the first time somebody has built one, but I'm not wasting my time googling for something so stupid).

    Can't see any benefits to that, extra weight/reduced strength & possibly higher rolling resistance.

    if the bearing was at the bottom just obove the contact patch it would make more sense to me,, thats fast work for students 😉

    But as a proof of concept, why not? At leat it works unlike the Boardman concept.
