I never tire of listening to them and about them
it's a shame that the heroics of bomber command don't get the same coverage - not as PC I guess?

My dad was a radio operator in a welly bomber out of Binbrook during the war
he reckoned the Spitfire boys were a bunch of prima donnas that sat around all day while everyone else was busy working 
Many many moons ago, like in 1981, The Strathallan Collection of historic aircraft was sold off by Coys.
The auctioneer flew himself in.

I worry about some of these programs and the true validity of this legend of the Spitfire - but then I see one and more importantly here one and I can feel the pride rising and the sound sets my whole body alight with excitement.
Adrenaline and pride is a dangerous, but heady and powerful, concoction
