i posted this the other week.
loads of people gave various fixes, i bought a hanger to fit on the forks which i did not get round to.
people said this would fix the problem.
    but is this acceptable
am i in my rights to take the bike back to the shop and ask them to sort it out
surely this is a problem with the bike and it is very dangerous
just got back from france and had a few twitchy moments on descents throughout the week
does anyone know if specialized know of this problem.

Take it back and ask them to sort it, it’s a known issue

If you really want to moan. Much easier to replace the pads which does it. Split the difference and ask shop to.

Specialized sorted the problem under warranty for a while (not sure if they still do), it was a known issue with the bikes and it’s solely to do with the hanger. Fit a fork mounted cable hanger instead of the stem mounted one it comes with. 10 min job and get on with life/riding the bike.
Or take it to a shop, moan, grumble and wait a week while it gets sorted. Your choice.

can you imagine a person new to cycling getting a tricross, and shock horror, braking pretty hard, going into a extreme judder/wobble/lose conrol situation, then crash, trip to a n e maybye……..possible senario.
    probably not worth a moan i suppose…. 😀
