Has anyone ridden a Specialized Tarmac and Roubaix and was there a great difference between the two?

I’ve ridden both but not owned either.

The front end of the Roubaix is a lot higher that the Tarmacs. I know guys who ride Tarmacs all day, they seem comfortable enough, equally the guys I know who ride Roubaix’s seem comfy too.

Do you currently ride a road bike? If so I’d choose something close to the same shape.

I ride a Spesh Allez as a winter bike and a Cannondale Six during the summer, quite happy on either bike to be honest

I currently use a cx bike that spends most of its life on the road so have decided to go the whole hog and get a road bike. Currently ride up to 2 hours but hoping to get longer rides in the summer.
