    Any recommendations for a set of external speakers for an iMac?

    I don't want anything too big (physically) though I do have room for a base unit under my desk. Decent quality though not audiophile standard!

    I've got a set of JBL Creature II's – mid range (£65 approx) look great next to the mac and sound great (to my ears at least!) Been running mine for a good couple of years with no issues.

    The sub is quite chunky but could sit elsewhere and the two speakers are wee, but kick out some loud/crisp sound.

    Could do at lot worse.
