    Hi All,

About to dive into the clipped-in world and having secured some bargain pedals i need some shoes. As i may hate being clipped in i only want to spend £50 ish on a first pair.

Wiggle have these DHB M1s for £50 which come with lots of great magazine reviews and a few positive postings of the forums. But then the Shimano M076 is roughly the same cost but i cant see anything on the forums about these.

Anyone got them and like/hate them? recommend something else?

    shimanos – http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/Shimano_M076_MTB_Cycling_Shoes/5360038667/

I tried on a couple of expensive pairs for fit in a bike shop and a specialized pair were a lot more comfy that the shimanos, but posts on here seem to suggest going a size up. Stupid size 12 boat feet!

The shimanos are out of stock for you so thats an easy pick 🙂

I have only ever had spesh BG shoes (Tahoe and BG Comp MB shoe) and loved the fit of them both. Plus its like gloves – spend a bit more on shoes and gloves for comfy fingers and toes to make you smile!
