Following on from the 6 music thread, I need to know what to listen to if it does go.
I am 30 and am struggling to enjoy the music on Radio 1 now. I do quite like Moyles’ chat (sorry, but I do) but not is music. I can not stand Scott Mills or any other day time DJ’s on R1. I do like Zane Lowe, Hugh Stevens, Annie Mac and a lot of the specialist evening shows though, and even those I don’t like I do appreciate. I used to love John Peel and very much enjoyed the old Evening Session with Steve Lamaq.
I am certainly not old enough for Radio 2 and whilst don’t mind 5 Live occasionally it is not a long term solution.
So people of STW, what shall I go for?
