so I signed up and paid with paypal but ive not heard anything since should I have received a email or something through the post do I just turn up tomorrow and sign in?

I'm sure you'll be fine. If you're really worried, just take your paypal receipt with you when you sign in.

I had no response until an e-mail a couple of days ago, & all it said was "this is to confirm your entry" ... no numbers, no nothing. So I'm just turning up too...
