i have been given a ss frame and fancy building it up for a cx type bike that i can ride to work with the odd off road excusion!! thing is i have no idea about what is the best set up so any advice on chain ring size and where to get the best deal on stuff etc. so far i have singular day one frame, hope bb, sadle and seat post, wheels (but not ss so need a convertion kit)
any help apreciated.

ah!! you are of course quite right.....genesis not singular (red face) still need some help mind and now you can see why???

if it,s 26 inch 32 front, 16 rear
any 2-1 combo will work, ie 36/18 etc, this is a good starting point,
also use a half link chain as you get better adjustment with it.Posted 5 months ago #
