I’ve not ridden the Camber, but I test rode the EX9 against a Stumpjumper FSR Expert when trying to decide on a new bike.
The EX9 felt horrible compared to the FSR – suspension didn’t feel as able to cope with the terrain, it felt too long for me (shorter stem perhaps would have helped) & it didn’t seem to have as much front end grip.
The FSR was just jump on & ride and it felt great, whereas we spent quite a while fiddling with the set-up on the EX9 and never really got it sorted out.
If the Camber is like a short-travel Stumpjumper, I reckon it would be a good trail bike.
To be honest, if the Camber had been around when I replaced my bike, I probably would have gone for that over the Stumpjumper.
