I really need to re-try full sus as my back is giving me gip when I ride now (mainly road) I have a Whyte c29 built up pretty nicely with Fox forks, Hope brakes, XTR rear mech, XT fr mech XT chainset etc. Its obviously way out date as its a 29er ๐Ÿ™„
What does the collective reckon its worth ?...and has anyone done a good deal on part ex with a bike shop. Happy to travel (I'm in West Yorkshire)
Selling privately I'd then go for the Carbon Trigger at Pauls but otherwise open to pretty much any cross country/AM style full suspension bike
Many thanks

If the parts are good then why not buy a frame and move the bits over?

That was a consideration but it'd be down to what will swap and what would need replacing due to size issues...and whether I'd actually spend more doing that rather than just selling/part-exing mine for brand new

UK Cycle centre do PX. Might be worth dropping them a line to see what they could do?

As nixie said - sell the frame or advertise for a frame swap and keep your bits. It's only likely to be the seatpost and maybe needing some adaptors on the wheelset if a similar era frame.

What size is it?

I'd suggest it's well worth chatting to Ross Readman at Ross's Rides - does all sorts of PX deals, custom builds etc, also offers finance.

I've known Holy Spokes in Horsforth do the odd trade in so could be worth a call or visit? Local to you too.
