    i have shimano 585 lx discs (160 rear, 180 front) and need new rotors. will any 6bolt shimano discs do the job, or do i need a specific rotor?

    to be honest, just about any 160mm rotor should be fine. I've ran my SLX brakes with hope rotors and avid rotors with no epic failures (by the way, i have some spare avid rotors you can i have for £12 posted if it helps)

    You need to make sure the fitting is the same centerloc or 6 bolt
