Heading down to Saunton at the end of May for a weekend of surfing and riding – can anyone recommend some good routes around here? More technical the better and ideally starting from SS but happy to drive to start if needed?

There’s some good stuff, I’d have a look at the segments already on strava.
Pylon descent to saunton is fun, rocky bottom is fun, north Buckland rocky decent is fun.
Order the Braunton/ croyde one of these

All the main bridle ways are on there. It’s a case of linking stuff up by road. There are some cheekier trails but they are better at times of the year when there aren’t as many tourists/ walkers about.

Or drive 40 mins to exmoor, the valley of the rocks/ lynbridge ride is great. It’s in single track here
