anyone know what size (or indeed where from) for mounting stuff to standard handlebars? I'm thinking in particular the DX bastardlight. One of the wee nippers has clearly hidden the standard somewhere so I'm coping with the OS one with some shims..

A decent hardware shop should have a selection in all sorts of sizes - I paid about 25p each to get some for mounting my Terralux torches on the bars. BTW for anyone who's tried the the fishlock velcro mounts they're much more effective with velcro to fix mounts to the bars and then o-rings running under the bars to attach torches to the mounts (and you can then use the spare velcro for helmet mounts.
