You will get plenty cold. A stiff breeze is forecast...
Alternative suggestion - Mastiles Lane over to Kilnsey (tea shop at trout farm). Go over to conistone and climbing up Scot Gate then Bycliffe Road into Mossdale before picking up slightly cheeky but fine mining track heading away right then curving round and down to Grassington (tea shops aplenty). Then either retrace to Malham by road or head up Moor Lane from Threshfield and over Weets Top down to Malham to finish - that last section will be v boggy, though.
Other alternative is to join the Settle Loop clockwise down Stockdale Lane and into Settle, then turn it into a fig-8 by following it as far as the Langcliffe road then heading onto the Pennine Bridleway down into Stainforth adding in a loop around Crummackdale, up onto Sulber then down Long Lane and back via Feizor. Again, mostly good paths and tracks. More tea shop options in Clapham and possibly Feizor.
