Off to see my mum for the weekend and will be taking the bike for a quick ride nice and early on Saturday am. So anyone know of any good routes about 15mile around Llandrillo?

I always remember the Wayfarer loop as a good one but haven’t ridden it for about 12 years! Comes out of Llndrillo and heads NE towards Corwen, iirc…

Other Matt….My mum also lives in Llandrillo, and as the other other Matt said..the wayfarer.

To be honest its either farmland or moorland, so any MTB ride can be epic.. especially this time of years the area moors are desolate especially in this time of year.

Check out the first issue of singletrack magazine there are maps etc.. or do a search plenty of info on the berwyns and wayfarer.

a fav loop was wayfarer to Llanarmon DC, over to the pistyll rhaeadr for anice lunch big climb and epic decent to Llangynog quarry (look out for the athertons) and then abig climb back up heading for Llandrillo….
