Hi I recorded a video on my canon s90 camera when I put it on my laptop (Macbook if that helps) the videos were sideways.

Is there an easy way to rotate the video? thanks

Can you not import it into iMovie and rotate it in that?

I think you might need FC express to rotate. Some video convertors might have aspect/rotation settings.

You can do it in iMovie, you can.

It’s three dollars. That’s about one pound eighty. Not too bad, eh?

Final Cut Express is hundreds of pounds. 😐

Quicktime Pro used to let you do this . . . .

DVD Videosoft will do it for you on a PC. If you can’t get to one I’ll sort it for you tomorrow if the file isn’t too big (or confidential!)

Just to update this http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/rotate-video-files-mac-pc/ worked very well!

Second tonyplym – I upgraded to quicktime pro a few years ago for exactly that reason. Haven’t used it for donkeys though, so no idea if it’s still available or still works.

Was 25$ or so at the time, I think, so not too much cash.
