So, my glamorous life means I get to spend a few nights in Wolverhampton town centre (near the train station). I’m planning to bring my road bike so I can get out for a ride or two but wondering where I should hear for. Any suggestions for low traffic routes?

    TIA

Take an MTB instead and I’ll take you out for a ride.
I’m not that far away from Wolvs.

If you are road riding then I would say head out the back down Wergs road or off towards Bridgnorth and that way. Always popular with road clubs and although they are fast roads they are generally wide enough for safe overtakes past you.

SSS, thanks but I’ll be going out early, before work…

Somouk, thanks, will have a look at that

Bridgnorth way if you want lumpy, Cannock way if you want flat.

Town centre is horrific but outside that it’s actually quite nice for road riding.

Tbf if you wanted to mtb you’re only about half an hour from the chase

Should say, if you’re riding during the day a popular ride out is down to the museum at RAF Cosford for a break there and some cake, a few different loops you can do to build up the mileage.
