    Does this stuff set hard? I had thought so, but my seatpost has been in the sun on the stand for ages now, and it hasn’t.

    Wouldn’t have thought so, it’s just carbon assembly paste

    the idea is that the ‘grit’ embedded in the paste adds ‘stiction’ to the assembled components – it’s not glue.
