    Very sad. 😥

    A true original.

Will Little Frank be launching a solo career?
    Hope his mum's ok.

Desperately sad. Trying so hard to be funny for all those years, and then dying without having managed it once.

I love Frank – only saw him live once, he was fantastic with his Casio keyboard, Little Frank, Amoeba Frank (he was very small), and Little Buzz Aldrin. All the photos I took are out of focus, cos I was laughing too much. We'll miss you Frank!

Oh dear. Some people don't get him I suppose but I thought he was funny.
Saw him live in 1990, it was a riot.

I loved Frank. Saw him entertain hundreds at Reading Festival with only a Breville toaster, an organ and cardboard puppet.

    🙁

Very sad. I'm typing this with a tear in my eye.

Frank's genius was part of my growing up.

I went to a series of his gigs at Leeds Uni (I think), have little Buzz Aldrin button badges and Freddy Mercurry incl. others, even once detoured to Timperley to see it (on company petrol). Agree with Midlifecrashes tho, niche funny.
At the time, I thought he was great, but on reflection?
RIP anyway, Quite entertaining in his time

One night at Glastonbury I was on my way back to the camping fields and was passing the comedy tent when my attention was drawn to a bloke in a papier mache head with a ridiculous drawn on moustache. It was Frank doing his Freddie Mercurury tribute. I was transfixed.

I saw him a few times after that but he never transcended that moment for sheer jaw dropping can-this-really-be-happening-ness. He will be missed.

    You know he will –

    He reeeaaallllyyyyy will.

    Goodnight, and thankyou.
