    Anyone done this?
    Special tools required?

My rear wheel seems to have developed some play (in a shorter time than I would expect).

Just wondering whether to try install the new bearings myself….

Did mine a couple of weeks ago, contact JRA for bearings & guide, but its very simple & took ten minutes – no special tools required.

£10 for a pair of rear bearings.

Take out the QR, take off the freehub, take off the bearing cover piece, tap the axle end & one bearing pops out on the axle, take the bearing off, put the axle back in but the opposite way round & tap it again to remove the other bearing.
Place the bearings in place & use the backside of a slightly bigger socket to seat the bearing, install axle & other bearing, then freehub etc.
