  • Replacement Virsa frame feels wrong….why?

I got one of the new Virsa frames under the warranty recently along with quite a few others, after building it back up I am really struggling to get it to feel anything like the old version…..basically they have beefed up the front end with a larger head tube and given us all integrated headsets. Every thing else is exactly the same and it has all the old components on but the front end is not right. With the front wheel spinning the bike just doesn’t want to straighten back up and I have to fight it. I have changed the stack height and positions of the bars but to no avail, I run 120mm reba’s on it but these were on before without issue…..has anyone else had this issue with the new frames or does anyone have any ideas as to why this feels wrong because its doing my head in.

My virsa felt horrible with 120mm forks, try it with 100mm, possibly the geometry is slightly different with the new heartiness, to me 120s made it feel like riding a zombie.

    Spacers in the fork?
    Drop ’em to 100mm?

Yep. No problem. LBS will have spacers if you don’t have them.
