Loathe as I am to spend money on skinny wheeled misery machines my commuter and the wife’s road bike need new pads.

Is there a superstar components equivalent for road bike brake pads?

    Cheers,

The Selcof pads on planet-x are ok, £2 a pair so cheap as well.

Pads or the complete thing? These work out at 7 quid a pair with the 3 for 2 – http://www.halfords.com/cycling/parts/brakes/shimano-br-5700-s-r55c3-cartridge-type-brake-shoe-set-silver

Disco brakes. Like superstar but without the ‘unique’ customer service!

    Pads are great too.

    skinny wheeled misery machines

    never heard that, like it.

OE Shimano is so cheap from the likes of CRC not sure why you’d need to search for a discount manufacturer.
