I’ve always shied away from synthetic tops, and will continue to do so in the winter, but I bought a Troy Lee XC s/s jersey (actually for the road bike) and it has been great in the heat. The 3/4 zip is great and the air flow is good too.

It was quite pricey though.

Anyone recommend anything less expensive that has a decent length zip, good ventilation, and reasonable styling?

on ones are cheap and do the job. shortish zip though.

my mate has a lusso one that has a full length zip and looks pretty dapper.

Mine’s a few years old now but it’s still my favourite on hot days.

i have a polaris blake jersey and its pretty good when the going gets hot – i got it from crc – they do a couple of colours
