[Closed] Recommend me a CO2 inflator for a road bike
What do you recommend to get a 23mm tyre up to 100psi, without getting cramp in my arm.
Not really bothered about pumps, roadie bike gets used most days for commuting, so need to fix flats with speed.
Oh, and where's good for cartidges. Ebay ?
Cheers
Genuine Inovations CO2 inflators like the ones I sell. The Nano Infalte is compact and the 16g cartridge is enough for 100 psi on 23c tyres.
Who is good for CO2 - me again not ebay. Genuine inovations £2.50 each in my shop including postage cheaper if you want a box of 20. workshop@thecycleclinic.co.uk.
This is the best place I have found yet

Miles cheaper, even with the postage.
Can recommend the Innovations - Ultraflate Plus
*not in stock there, but worth waiting, they are generally very good at getting new stock in.
Thanks both for the replies. I'll check those out tonight.
Big Fat Top Tip;
Use a pump to make sure the tyre is seated before using a CO2 cartridge.
Inner tube go bang.
Typically on these threads 9 out of 10 posters will say Tyre Inflators.
Though not this time it seems. 🙂
I use the Innovations Ultraflate.
Oh, and 16g cartridges are about 50-60p each for unbranded threaded, depending on how many you buy, and their next day delivery has always been next day for me.

I recommend better tyres and a track pump in the garage. 1000+ miles of commuting on Schwalbe Durano Plus and not a single puncture. I adjust the pressure monthly.
I carry a pump, spare tube and instant patches but haven't used them yet.
Tyre inflators and CO2 cartridges are the same company...
Hmm...think I might need a bigger Camelbak.
