Hi Guys/Girls.
Ok, so the Lugs on my forks, where the caliper bolts to have rounded slightly. They were like this when i bought them second hand.
So because of this, the caliper bolts up cock eyed. So i've straightened it up with washers and aligned it perfectly.
Except after a very muddy ride, my bike got fully stripped for clean and grease.
When i put the caliper back with new pads in, I bedded them in and did 1 15 mile ride.
They were crap to say the least, so when i investigated, i hadn't put my washers back in the right place.
So the pads are bedded in to an off set caliper. But now the calipers correct again, the braking power is poor.
Is it possible to sand the pads flat again and re start the bedding in process?
Or once the pads have been bedded in, and Cured. Is it not possible?
Cheers
sure you can, but it might just be easier to do another 15mile ride?
So you think if i just leave them, they will flatten off soon enough?
There crap now, because i can imagine there isn't full pad contact, because of how i orginally bedded them in.
