What is a good rear qr skewer?
Security is a must. I had the DT Swiss RWS Thru Bolt on the my last wheelset and the safety screw snapped inside the bolt. Quite flimsy to say the least.

Salsa. Look pretty, reasonably priced and I've never had an issue with them on all my bikes.

Shimano all the way.
Mavic ones rattle, or the lever comes off, and Salsa have an external cam so they go crappy quite easily, and are difficult to get properly tight too.

I've got Salsa had none of tha above problems, but then again,I've never had any trouble with any QRs.

I've got salsa that are over ten years old and still work like new. I also use their seat clamps which don't last at all (but still look very pretty). Using the stainless steel rods means you can crank them up super tight.

shimano are availible as a pair, off the shelf, but often availible from people with spares.
classifieds and local cronies are where mine have all come from (3 of)Posted 3 years ago # -
My Salsa wheel QRs have been fine, although I've had 2 seatpost ones that don't seem to last too well. Crap geting inside the cam seems to make them grumble.
