Ti – £1200ish. Not for you Tony… this is low front end, head down, XC race frame.

It looks quite race orientated 😕

The stem height is 40-50mm lower for a more raceable front end

Need the steel one – can't afford another ti frame! 😥

Is there a steel one planned for those with less cash?

Nice looking bike, that. A return of fast hardtails is a good thing.

Seat tube mounted bottle looks like it will rub the frame.

Looking forward to those (sligtly) more affordable frames. I suppose the steel will be around 500 as will the alu. What do you reckon, Brant?
    BTW What prices for Ireland?

Sorry to hijack the thread, but out of curiosity, do you have a rough price for the Nukeproof DH frame yet?

Alloy will be £300ish, steel, yes, possibly £500ish if we use the pipe I'm thinking of.

I do, yes, though we're not telling anyone yet 🙂

    It looks the business…

Can you confirm if it will be under £1k?

Can you also confirm sizing? I'm 6' 6" and struggling to find a DH bike to fit.

    Doh i missed this bit

3 sizes – 16, 18, 20. 18in has a 24in top tube, 4in head tube, 72 head, 73.deg seat. 16in is half an inch shorter, 20in half an inch longer (and has a half inch longer head tube). Usual sizing rules apply (5?10? to 6?1?, you want an 18in – bigger or smaller than this, and you want to go up or down a size).

    🙄

No worries, if you don't ask…

When you say unlucky, do you mean unlucky you can't confirm sizing or unlucky it won't fit

If you're looking for a sub £1000 dh frame that fits a 6'6" rider, I think you'll be looking for a while.

Agreed. XL Evil Revolt is looking like the biggest thing I can find at the moment – 630mm top tube. That or a Tomac Primer. But sadly both closer to £2k

Brant does seem to like his marmite bikes doesn't he?

(Rockitman – buy a large speccy bighit, and sell the bits, itsa very good frame)

Second Specialized for a taller gent, plenty of room in my Large SX Trail and I'm 6'3".

The Ragley looks like a lovely bike.

    According to Colin at Hotlines:-

6 Small 10 Medium and 10 Large have left the factory and we should see them early next week.

    RRP £1199.99.

Unfortunately that's sooner than I thought, and we haven't had any stickers made yet, but I think Gil's on it!
