I'd just like to know how handlebars are measured, I've just received some Race Face Atlas FR bars that should be 785mm wide. I've measured them from bar end to bar end in a straight line and they're 730mm. The packaging says 785mm so got given the right ones in the shop, so either I'm measuring them incorrectly or there's something funny going on.

You just made me go to the garage to measure mine (the bars) and they are 785mm wide, end to end, in a straight line. I don't know what's going on with yours, sorry!

Yep, just double checked and def 730mm wide, back to the shop I go!

How strange. I'd like to know what the outcome is.
