Did not do it last year but a friend found it harder than a solo @ sits this year and he did 23 laps,twas a write up in the mag there was a high
drop out rate

I've done 7 hrs around Kielder – can't see it being as hard as the Cristalp. How long did you take on that – I bet you hit the Pas de Loma carry at about 9-10hrs in? Got to be harder than Kielder!

and any idea of if there is a rider limit, i can't seem to find mention.

I think part of the difficulty was due to the conditions the week before. There were some sections that would have been nice, easy, spinny, flat link sections but were soul-destroying slogs of sogginess.

exactly mike, the thing is its always like that at kielder…especially if the loggers have been using the forest roads

Im in. Wasn't going to enter until the new year, but got scared I'd miss out looking at how quick it's filling up! Can't wait 'til september now!
