This looks highly suspicious. If it turns out to be all in order then fine but it needs to be investigated further.

Via the GMP website I have requested they check their databases to see if they have any Lapierre’s of this model reported stolen and if so conduct further enquiries.

I remember the dodgy backstreet garage I used that had a smashed up newish Boxster in there ready to 'you know what'.
