What on Earth are you talking about Simon? Is this some kind of Scatological Periodical?
Takes all sorts I spose. Not healthy or hygienic though. No wonder you've got Bottom Worms.

No wonder you've got Bottom Worms

Next week I'm going for scurvy...[edit: the official name is "Privateer" but sadly it's nothing to do with privates

I woon't worry. Onion has obviously contracted your last week's parasitic infestation.
Has the itching stopped?
You mussunt scratch, as this helps to spread the eggs.

You disgust me.

what is it?
it purports to be a quality magazine about mountain biking. Issue #1 smelled revolting though I got used to it after time, but I still found the contents quite unpalatable, though nearly everyone else told me I was totally wrong and it was wonderful
You disgust me
you're just in denial :o)

Well, my issue 2 has just arrived. I wouldn't necessarily describe the smell as revolting, but equally I wouldn't want to be stuck in a confined space with it for an extended period.
Clearly I haven't looked at the content; I just buy magazines for the aroma...

My No 2 has arrived and just remembered I haven't started No 1 yet!

Here too a click flick and it's lovely as the last one, something to read later with a wee drink.

But surely, it is the most confined space in the house that most of us spend extended periods with our (bike) mags

I love the smell. Rouleur is the same.
*gives pages a riffle*

Mine arrived today, will have a look later

got mine today, nice pics and a good feature on the history of ti, with some good bits from the big US names. why that guy who did the tv/book thing about building his dream(road)bike has a page, im not sure. tbh ive had more fun on the toilet of late with issues 1-55 of singletrack. im passing them on but have really enjoyed the early mags.

Eeeeek! It seems I forgot to cancel the DD! Issue #2 lives up to its malodorous name, but perhaps the content will make up for it ?
Posted 1 year ago # -
Mine arrived today
As Tang says, but content thin otherwise. Don't think I'll be going on with them
Issue 1 was OK and it was good loo reading - good Gary Fisher feature and his San Francisco hippy bike youth beginnings

just finished mine, some good but mostly not. i dont dig this attempt to mythologize the past. in any given year in mtb history are we not just doing our thing? why i like the early singletracks, bit more fun and real. tbh, photos aside, the singular ad and the IF ad inspired me more, as in; 'thats a nice bike, i like mine so im going for a ride'

I'm still reserving my judgement, but I complained about history last time, and now they've dug into geological ages...

How's your bottom worms this week Simon?
Posted 1 year ago # -
Well thats not my fault, you're the one moaning about how crap it is and its stinking your house out. I'm doing you a favour.
