I’m after a inter commute but can’t stomach the extra £100 on-one stick on the pompino. Any other sub £500 alternatives other than a keenly priced Genesis Day One. Drops, singlespeed, mudguard friendly.

Look for one 2nd hand? Bomb proof frames and reasonably good paint job (for on-one).

If you could go an extra £50 the pearson Hanzo is well thought of or a langster with crud catchers. TBH I commute all winter on a Langster and have never bothered with mudguards

Think the offer may only be for limited sizes though. That SE Lager gets pretty good reviews too.
