Sixth post, link 2 is almost perfect for you.

P.S. Weston is not near the canal, it’s the other side of town

Thanks for the link – sorry I thought the rivery thing was the canal – but Lower Weston is right – not too far from Victoria Park.

    Any other ideas………….

Have a look around Englishcombe, there’s some byways you can link together. Haven’t got a link for an online route this time.

If you’re after a gentle ride head down the canal to the George pub, or go along the Bristol to Bath cycleway.

If you are after a proper ride: Head south of the city on the canal, leave the canal near a place called Pipehouse, and go down the byway west of Pipehouse. Make your to Wellow via bridleways (using the disused railway) and then head north at the crossroads in the centre of the village, and make your way back to Bath.

Thanks Parvis – do you have a couple of grid refs for key points?

Trails are a bit sticky at the moment, from Lower Weston, Lansdown your best bet. Long route that could be shortened here:

Make sure you pop into Cadence when you’re passing.
