To those who make homemade pizza - What do you cook the pizza on (i know you don't all have pizza ovens in your kitchen) do you use pizza stones ??
A pizza stone is best. Had a quote for a slab of marble from a kitchen/bathroom specialist a while back - £80! **** off. Normally use a couple of 12" circular pizza trays - bought from some high street kitchen appliance shop.
Sorry but the pizzas from Mamma Mia's in Chapel Allerton are really really bad.. my first (and last) one had about 2 blocks of cheese grated onto it !

for cheap stone go speak to your local gravestone maker.
Boulevards in Morpeth were very good still ok but not as great as they were.
18" wide by 36" long but it was square!!
Some how doubt it was square.
Baffetto's in Rome is by far the best pizza I have had.
Ultra thin base cooked in a wood burning oven. Wash it down with a lazio white wine. Delicous 
I dont think they deliver though 
Jose (and I) make top pizza.
She makes the base (with seeds and stuff in too, YUM!)
and i make the topping sauce (as complicated as possible) and the toppings.
had one last night, got the reminants for tea tonight too.
Goats cheese, mozzerella, Chestnut Mushrooms and Olives.

i cant remember the place name but they did a HUGE pizza called "the beast"18" wide by 36" long but it was square!!

Had a "South of the Border" last night actually (though only a Large, not a Beast.)
Edit: It appears to be 24"x18" and 'square' somehow.
I admire their ability to make pizzas ..... but it appears that geometry isn't their strongpoint
Ahh memories - I used to work next door to Snappy - we had a beast every Saturday for dinner before heading to the Soda Fountain

They do but it tends to be a bit cold by the time it gets to you. And covered in bits of Jiffy bag.
